LADOTYRI FROM ZAKYNTHOS
Zakynthos’ Ladotyri, known as “ntopio”, is a spicy cheese made from sheep milk, which is preserved in olive oil in clay jars. Soft in the early stages of maturation, spicy and hard as time goes by and matures. It is produced from the middle of Spring onwards, but you can find it all year round, in its mature form with the rich aroma of oil and cheese.
