KASERI PDO ZAROGIANNIS
It is one of the best Greek cheeses, mainly due to its special taste that combines a velvety shade of butter from milk and an earthy intensity of nuts from maturing. With satisfactory humidity and soft texture, it proves to be one of the best representatives of this type of cheese with a PDO. The slightly sweet aftertaste makes it an ideal accompaniment for fruits, such as figs, raisins, honey jams and fresh bread. It is also recommended as a perfect match for sour flavors, such as pickles, sun-dried tomatoes, capers or avocados in a sandwich.
